4. Sifu Vincent Liu

Sifu Vincent Liu commenced studying martial arts at the age of 7 years old he studying Wu Style Tai Chi. Since that time, he has studied various styles of martial arts including Karate, Muay Thai, Shaolin Kung Fu and Xing Yi Kuen.  

In 1993, Vincent started studying Wing Chun Kuen under Sifu Oliver Cheng (a student of Grandmaster Ip Chun and Grandmaster Sum Nung) and attained the level of assistant instructor in 1994. He continued training with Sifu Cheng until 1996. In 1994, Vincent acted as a translator for seminars conducted by Grandmaster Sum Nung during his visit to Australia. 

In 1996, Vincent met Grandmaster Ip Ching and began studying under the Grandmaster as a private student. Since that time, Vincent has visited Hong Kong (for one or two months each year) for intense Wing Chun training under the Grandmaster by way of private lessons and also in group classes conducted by the Grandmaster in the Ving Tsun Athletic Assocation. Vincent completed his training in Wing Chun including the 6 and a half point pole and Bat Jam Dao under Grandmaster Ip Ching's guidance in 2004. 

Vincent is a permanent member of the Ving Tsun Athletic Association and was was awarded his instructor's certificate by Grandmaster Ip Ching in 1999.
