4) BIU JEE FORM

This is the final hand form of the Wing Chun system. The form builts upon the foundation which the student has developed in the Sil Lim Tao and Chum Kiu Forms, and introduces students to a new type of striking namely finger jabs to the eye.  The form recognises that as we are all human, there may be instances where a Wing Chun practitioner make a mistake and is placed into a bad position. In such circumstances, Bui Jee provides the practitioner with the techniques to get out of the bad position or escape serious injury.

The form also introduces students to:

  • the use of power in relation to the execution of Wing Chun techniques (Gung Lik),

  • the triangular stance (Sam Gok Ma),

  • the use of hip power (Yiu Ma Lik) in the execution of Wing Chun techniques; and

  • counter-attacks or farn sau techniques in Chi Sau.

1. Biu Jee - Elbow (Kup Sau)

2. Biu Jee - Thrusting fingers

3. Biu Jee - Jaw Strike
